Reverse flex
A technique which involves the downward revising of the margins on a loan offered on the banking syndicate market when demand for such a loan is much greater than supply. Very often used for LBO syndications.
The opposite is the upward flex when margins have to be revised upwards due to low demand at the time of syndication.
