Active Fund Management
“Active fund management” designates a style of management of funds whereby the fund manager actively selects countries, sectors and particular securities, and does not seek to replicate the performance of an index or basket of index (referred to as passive fund management), but seeks to generate an excess return over the market benchmarks.
