Under-performing
An asset which is "under-performing" is an asset which does not behave as well as initially expected. For instance an "under-performing share" is a share which price behaves more poorly than its peer group. A project which is "under-performing" (or "poorly performing", or "non-performing") is a project which is not constructed on time and on budget, and/or���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� starts generating the cash flows which are lower than anticipated. The opposite of "under-performing" is "over-performing".
